A typical Dawn Approved meal provides a balance between protein, healthy fats, and fibrous carbs. it provides nutrients in the form of Whole Foods, and always includes some sort of veggies. An example of this type of meal would be: wild caught salmon, which provides protein and healthy fats(as well as omega 3's) , black beans which provides natural, healthy carbs, and green beans which is a nutrient dense fibrous vegetable. Generally, a meal that is considered Dawn approved is also minimally processed and in the closest form to nature as possible.
